Nanban. the official remake of the hindi blockbuster film 3 Idiots. The film is the first remake film of director Shankar as it inspired him the most, he mentioned in the audio launch.
Nanban is the story all about 3 friends Pari, Venkat and Senthil studying in Ideal Engineering college, how they achieving in their life in the fields they like. Then let’s go into the story, Vijay(Pari), Srikanth(Venkat) and Jeeva(Senthil) joins Ideal Engineering College for their studies but Pari always wants to learn something new rather than studying what’s in the book, he wants to experiment all the theories practically. Venkat wants to be a Wildlife Photographer but unfortunately by fate he joins Engineering because of their parents wish. Senthil always has fear of everything. So how they get shine in their fields they like is the story of Nanban, told in very entertaining way.

It’s been a long time we’ve seen Vijay in such kind of roles after Friends and Sachin but the actor is back with his mind blowing performance Other Actors Jeeva, Srikanth also has equal importance in the film so all of them scored cent percent in their acting. Sathyaraj and Sathyan has much importance next to the lead roles , both of them has made their part well. Ileana is just used for glamour and songs likewise in commercial films.
The director will have so much burden when directing a film which was a blockbuster already but director Shankar has made it very well with his directing skills. He just concentrated in the scene sequences and dialogues.
Harris Jeyaraj has given super hit songs for the film and the background score also been scored well. He scores in all the scenes from the first scene. The songs Ask laska and Irukana were been made well in the point of choreography.
There is much to say about Manoj Paramahamsa’s Cinematography as he just captures every single frame very beautiful. Even in the night sequences the picture quality is very clear. Antony has concentrated much in his editing he has made a crisp editing in the entire film.
Nanban – Film with a message but in an entertaining way, so go for
